Targeted and Firing

I'm not sure if anybody else has run into this problem and frankly, I'm stuck. Getting an Elite to spawn in a Banshee was easy. However all it does is try to run me over. It will fire once maybe twice(on rare occasions) but then just tries to run me over and never fires again. I might be able to fix it on my own if I can just find out where the problem is but it's currently 2 AM so I'm stopping for the night. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated and you could probably save me at-least two days work.

P.S. When ejected from banshee the Elites fire normally at range. I am also using the Elite Minor Ranged Actor Variant and the Multiplayer version of the Banshee if that matters.

Are you using 3D firing positions. There is flag for this on the encounter field. It will give you the ability to move firing positions on the Z axis, allowing you to put them in mid-air.

I guess I should have specified that they are not being spawned through an encounter, they spawn through a projectile file. My current test weapon fires a banshee with an elite set as the "Built-in Gunner".

Shouldn't matter - what will matter is if you're using 3d firing positions, as colter said.

But then where do set the firing position if there is no encounter?

Oh.
._.
Erm, try making a dummy encounter with no actors spawned or anything, just the firing positions. That's my only idea :S

I'll try it but knowing halo it won't make a difference.

Edit: Just tried but it didn't help.

Right now it fires banshees until I get it working but when It's done I want to have a tank that releases sentry drones to defend you or at least shoot at the enemy. (This is made for a SP map)
