ok, i was on youtube watching some videos and then the stupid gray subscripition bar thingy played the next video, but anywayz it was a halo 3 ODST walkthrough, so i was bored so i just went and watch it even tho i already watched other walkthroughs, and while watching it i got an idea.
my idea was that during in a game in a MP map that people can access a computer like thing (superintendent) which will show a map or radar of the whole map and also the place where everyone is at in the map which would be real time(meaning that if someone moves in the map the indicator representing them would move). and of course to prevent people from knowing everyone whereabouts all the time and noobs telling where everyone is at, the superintendent can be only be used for 5 seconds or something then it has a cool off time of 5 or 10 mins before it can be used again. so basically its just a huge radar.
so is this possible?

Not a device as they dont Sync Over MP BUT an over view picture of the map on a board as scenery would work i guess.

I think it might be possible in singleplayer, but I don't really know about showing all enemies on one piece of a bitmap. You can probably script it so that when you press a button, it will go to a camera for 5 seconds in which the camera is up high in the sky showing you where everyone is (for 5 seconds). And who said you can't have animated scenery.

what about having a over head picture of the map pop up and then have a huge radar that has long reach on top of it?
