Metal shouldn't have seams to begin with. For ground and cliffs this is a good idea, because: -Like Bias says, you can tell where the IDS meet. -Like Higuy says, you're supposed to use an alpha on the ground... but in CE you only get two textures that way. -This methodd helps join the ground to cliffs. 3 textures.
