how do i change what direction the sun is coming from in sapien or guerrilla?

\tags\scenarios\skies\multi\YOUR SKY WHATEVER IT IS CALLED.sky


For example, here is Ascension's:
\tags\scenarios\skies\multi\ascension\sun_ascension.sky

Open Guerilla ...

If you wanna tweak this .sky file then you should duplicate it first and put it under a folder named after your map, but in this skies area. Something akin to the above Ascension location will do. Perhaps \tags\scenarios\skies\multi\bone_yard\bone_yard.sky?


So open your map's .sky file, now scroll down to Lights. Under Lens Flare navigate to \tags\scenarios\skies\multi\ascension\sun_ascension.lens_flare. Copy this file and place the duplicate next to your Bone_Yard.sky file.


Now (still in the .sky file under Lights) set the direction to:

y: 115 p: 36 (Tombstone settings)

Open in Sapien and adjust these values until its where you like. You may require assistance with this part through real time editing. Otherwise start with the values I gave you and make slight adjustments.

Test Distance: 60

Diameter: 0.0349066

i am using hek unlocked and on expert mode and it still won't let me change any of the values.

you are probably trying to change values for default tag, it is set as read only file,
ether you make sure it is not read only, or you open ascension lens flare in guerilla and
press file/save as and save it whatever you want
