When I open Halo 2,it says if I want to load devtrainer.dll If I click NO,halo starts,if I click YES,It says Dev Trainer Sucessfully loaded. My facebook page will now open... but nothing happens.

Here use this one. It's pretty easy to use but I'll post a little tutorial anyways.

1:Start the injector
2:make sure you have all the .dll files in your halo 2 folder
3: Where it says .dll on the injector, browse to the Devtrainer.dll
4:Where it says process, browse to your halo2.exe
5: click inject and it should load halo2 automatically.

do you know how to uninstall it i try to delete it but it says its running in halo 2 when halo 2 isnt even running

If you have installed the trainer follow the injector instruction that Skyancez3o4 posted and instead of saying yes let the injector handle it and say no when the palus message comes up i know this message is late this for anyone with the same issue that stumbles on this forum like I did

If you didn't install the dev trainer install it lol then follow the above steps

Ya sorry its really late I decided last night to play the halo 2 for PC again and remember the paulos trainer but had in issue with it loading. me being a computer guy i'm pretty persistent but its Skyancez3o4 i should thank i wasn't even think of using an injector oh and ps you might have to push the F1 key a few times to get the mneu up I notice with or without the inject it has some slight bugs but works good for the most part

Hello, I have found a solution to that problem. You need to make internet Explorer your mainbrowser. That should fix the problem.

Totally not worth it. Also, you know this is five years old, right?

I'm aware this is six years old, nearly at least. I'm having the issue of clicking no and it still saying it was successfully loaded.

I can't get Windows 10 to make Internet Explorer its default web browser.
It keeps defaulting to Edge when i select IE.

I'm looking for some cheats just to play single player.
I killed the Prophet of Regret once and it took forever.

It must have been fluke that I got him.
Anyhow the game crashed right after I got flung into the water and it said
"this is not your grave but you are welcome here"

Then it went back to main menu. No saved portions or anything.
I've been trying to kill that prophet for the DAY and well into the entire evening.
I need to move on with my life.

Nevermind the next level was unlocked it just never loaded automatically.
I dont know how to uninstall the Dev Trainer.

Yeah I know I'm beating a dead horse here but this trainer isn't working in Windows 10. It works fine on Windows 7 with injector.exe, but on win10, the trainer won't work no matter what injection method I use. I believe it has something to do with it trying to open Facebook because it says "my Facebook page will now open" but nothing opens, nor the game. Halo 2 will run in task manager, but it is unresponsive. I can't reprogram the trainer either because I don't know what language Paulus used to code it.

As I said, I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse, especially since MCC is about to drop with halo 2 anniversary but I'd still like some help trying to get this trainer to run. It's the only way I can run halo 2 in 4K.

Have you tried Project Cartographer? If you use the -hiresfix parameter you should be able to resize the window to 4K.
