When I try to open a a tiff image in Photoshop, it displays the alpha in place of the RGB.

Try to change the image type, I believe it is under image and colors....
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I can't access my Photoshop right now. |

I think paint.net supports tiff with alpha, but not as advanced.
