I have had a very similar problem in the past. I believe I fixed it by finding a map that corrupted Halo CE. Did it start happening right after downloading a particular map?

I believe the way I fixed the issue, was to move all of your custom maps into a "tempmap" directory, and leave only the ones that came with Halo CE in the maps directory. You then reboot, and start Halo CE and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you have to find by elimination the map that is causing your problem.

I had the same problem. The only solution is to get a new video card. Sorry.
