I have currently finished my conversion of Icefields. The textures are not all that spectacular, I wanted to keep it honest to the original map. I will be getting ready to test this map on Tuesday, and would welcome any beta testers that would be interested. On a side note, I have not found a way as of yet, to simulate the sliding physics of ice for the map. Is there a way to achieve the same effect as the original map? And also, I would like to have ladders on the bases, but not sure how to go about getting that part implemented. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For ladders, add this symbol to the ladder shader(s): ^.
For the ice section, JohnnyBlaz tried that years ago but it would not slide, thats why he made Summerwinder instead of a Winter version (I think thats why). However, when I was looking through the tags I noticed that there is an ice material response. I just do not recall where I saw it.

Yeah I saw that too. It was under like, effects\hard\terrain...er something. I tried adjusting to all sorts of ice type or snow type material names for the proper response, but nothing worked. Now that I think about it, I don't remember there being any type of terrain physics for water or ice, or anything? Not even on SentinelHq.....and that levels all f-in snow and ice!

The second time I ran the map I spawned outside and below the map level. You most likely have a spawn point too low.
