Ok.....so i am using 3ds max 2010 and i can't seem to figure out why i can't import .wrl files. I even (in the import window) selected "All Files" in the view files drop down. And 3ds max says "Can not read file". So...the program is saying that it will not and won't work with the file...is this true? And why does 3ds max 2010 not like .wrl files? I need to import a .wrl file for my model. and since 3ds max versions are backwards compatible (screw you Autodesk) i can't open the file in 3ds max 9 or 8. That is unless someone has figured out a way to do so. Has someone it figured out yet? But as of right now....i think i can out of luck. Unless someone can help me? Can someone help me? If you can that would be great.
Thanks for any help given

For 2010, run chimp.ms. It's a MAXscript .wrl importer too.
