Okay, Halo Custom Edition is multiplayer, it is made for multiplayer and is only multiplayer (Apart from getting the ui and campaign maps). So my Halo Custom Edition multiplayer isn't working!!!! Aaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!! Whenever I try to make a game in LAN or internet, it says I cannot join... I cannot join my own game!!!! OMG!!!
Could anyone help me to get it back? I might of changed a few settings in Network settings. It says something like 3 203 in one of the settings and i changed it to 3 201 to try to get LAN working between my two laptops, but then I could'nt make my own LAN games... Can anyone help with the LAN problem? And also, how do I get another laptop to connect to LAN when it has the same IP? How do I get it? Lol plz help.. |

Did you actually type a space in there??? like 3 203 instead of 3203? I don't think a port can be defined whit a space. Remove the spaces and try again. Also these ports of your computers should be opened. And don't give the same ports anywhere it might give you touble if you do. So one pc uses 3201 and 3203 the other pc 3205 and 3207. Alos forward those ports. That should work. P.S.: Same IP thing uselly doesn't work out. Just use differend Ip's why wouldn't you? Edited by Niels on Jun 14, 2010 at 08:22 AM |

Thankyou!! I got rid of the spaces and it worked. TY alot!!
And how do you change your IP so my two laptops have different IP's? THey are both set to 265.0.0.1:2302 right now... Thx again!!! |

You can change the ip somewhere in your network setting but since I don't know your laptop I don't know exactly where. (I don't know if you use windows or not and what version you use.) |

Um i have Windows 7 and i'm currently using Windows xp service pack 3. I'll look for the IP in my network settings...
Okay I looked and I found out all of these IPv4 and IPv6 things that have an IP like 10.0.0 but they don't look like my halo IP which is 126.0.0.1:2302, or is it 265.0.0.1:2302?
