So.....i recently got Windows 7, and It's an awesome OS and all (even better the Vista...of course). And every Halo apps has worked so far.....but then came down the hammer. The problem is the hammer is HEK+. This seems odd to me that i can install HEK+ with no problems at all and everything works up until the point when i have the program up and when i click one of the option taps....and then BOOM! It stops responding nothing works after that point AT ALL! What's going on? I also had this problem when i used (can you believe it) Windows Vista. Yes i know i was using Windows Vista....but only so that i could play Halo 2 on PC. Now...back to what i was saying. How do i fix this issue? I downloaded the .NET Framework installer and installed it. But it gave me a version compatibility error, but yet i could still install it. Could by clicking the "Run program anyway" button even though it had a version compatibility error messed up the process?
Thanks for any help given

Right click on the HEKPlus executable or shortcut you use and select the compatibility tab. Set it to Windows XP service pack 2 and check Disable Visual themes and Disable Desktop composition.

Thanks Dennis for the reply! You method worked like a charm. Vista\Windows 7 can be a pain sometimes. But not always xD
Thanks again
