CMT is my fave map makers in HCE T^T but the tags i got from there map "CMT_tags_unplayable" some tags aren't working... it says "this tag is corrupt" (its usually the C_shade turret and then in thier SPV2 level B30(silent cartographer) it was un protected so i decided to rip out the C_shade tags....and the brutes :D and here is my problem:

C_shade - tag is corrupt but i ended up fixing it :P
Brute_v2_spike - sapien jsut goes :P and closes...
Spec-ops_hunter - same as brute

and its the same for the CMT biped tags and the Actor varient tags too...
how do i fix? o.O

Post your debug.txt. The reason so many tags aren't working right is because CMT stopped working on them, and they just decided to release it rather than let so much work go to waste. I'm pretty sure there's some missing or misdirected tags.

YAY Donut!! :D CMT rocks!

so anyway... i tried A Hobo by Kornman00 but its still the same as sapien T^T and when it sees a Grunt it closes and nothing of that appears on my Debug.txt (lol sapien and a hobo dont like grunts...)

and i try opening the tags in Guerilla and it still says "this tag is corrupt" again... but the Actor Varient tags open up just fine in Guerilla but in sapien it causes it to close

oh and anyone here know where to get the H3 Grav Hammer from BMT coagulation?

you can extract the grav hammer tags from Valhalla (search for it in hce.halomaps) and they are pretty good. but they take three hits to kill a hunter lol.

and to the other guy, spykhawk or whatever, i'm allowed to post my opinions on a thread about a map team so why don't you got post yourself into another forum.

p.s. I luv CMT, i got their campaign!!!

There's a set of V1 Brutes here on Halomaps that, although I have no idea, you could perhaps take some of their tags and fit them to the newer CMT Brutes?

No no no, this isn't the CMT thread. This is a help thread asking for assistance in fixing corrupt and missing tags obtained from the CMT Tag Release 1.

As much so as you are allowed to state your opinion thanks to the mighty authority of The Great Dennis, you really need to go read the rules and learn you are not to post useless, garbage posts that don't contribute to the thread at all. It's annoying, it's distracting, and in a community like this, such simple posts can destroy threads as more and more people join the crapfest and post junk I don't give a donkey for.

BTW, check out the sentinel enforcer tags in tags\cmt\characters\enforver - they are epic pwnage

Wait, what problem were you having again?

I'll just mention that the CMT grunts are relatively unmodified. Well, not significantly, at least. You can pretty much just rip the default Halo ones.

well...it seemed liike argueing to me...cuz lol the topic was about CMT tags...

oh and i got that Valhalla map...but it was Fist_of_Rukt for a grav hammer...
i was hoping for a REAL H3 Grav hammer...

Umm, I don't mean to be violent or w/e, but pretty much you aren't contributing. The closest you got was with the grav hammer.

...which is, as of yet, unsolved. Most grav hammers, whether you can rip/download them or not, are models of the Fist of Rukt(in fact, I think all maps with the grav hammer use the same tags for the fist). There's an H3 grav hammer model out there, but it's still just a model. I'll compile it for you into a .gbxmodel, and throw in the shaders, but creating the .weapon tag and other tags will be your job. I won't promise it'll work in-game.

well, a little part on xsnoder's side, but mostly on you. You're a troll, he feeds the troll. You're both doing it wrong.

oh and i dont know how to make the .weapon file... sorry... i can do the shaders and the .itemcollection :D

You guys are late for the party. I already have this tripmines models and I made it work myself. However It fails to work when you walk over the tripmine -.- . I haven't been able to fix that yet. But It works when you trow a granade at it or drive over it whit a vehicle. I'm not sure but I belive this tripmine (from the movie) has a bug. I belive it didn't disapear or blowup right. It sends out inviseble short range projetiles that hurt the player. However it doesn't allow the mine to disapear in an easy way. I made one that works in the opposite way. My mine has health and explodes when it 'dies'. That makes mine more reliable but it means materchieefs feet must have some attatchment that damages the mine. I failed at getting that last part to work sofar but it really should work. I can't however share my mine since the models of this one are used. I promized to not share them whit anyone you will have to ask the creator to share them whit you.

Ok but I can't help you whit that. For those intrested, I just fixed the mine. It now works almost perfect it has only a small problem whit the angel when you trow it.

But that was it for the trip mine in this topic ^.^.

Could you sumit it in hce.halomaps as a tag file and a compiled map plz... Cuz tags never work with me, only hek+ makes them work, there's always some sort of stupid red error in guerilla...

go to weapon tags and find the c4 grenade. it has a foot effect put that on the cyborg and re link the tags to the tripmine might work

No need it's already working now, only the angle of the mine s#cks and needs fixing, but le's discus my mine in one of my topics about that cause we're getting of topic here.

I believe YOU are late to the party. I have the mine in the video, but updated and fixed. It now works nearly flawlessly.
