I can't figure out how to get the value of a device_control. I want this holo-panel to set the variable 'wtf':

(global device_name weapon_button weaponroom)
(script continuous restore
(set wtf (device_get_position weaponroom))
)

I don't know devices very well, here. Anyone who's done devices: could you give me a pointer?
