Look in your \Halo Custom Edition folder for debug.txt and look as the last few paragraphs to see what errors it is reporting. Then correct those errors.

right-click the desktop and click properties. then click the settings tab and it should say the graphics card name right there

Windows Flag Key(on your keyboard)+R opens up the 'Run' dialog. Type in dxdiag to diagnose your DirectX. Click the display tab and tell us your video card, chipset, and video memory.

Don't tell me "but there is no run dialog in Vista". Yes there is.

He said he doesn't wanna do all that system crap.
Properties is Alt-clicking My Computer. But if the graphics card is really the problem, you're screwed anyway. Perhaps it's something in the map. You really should try to get to that debug.txt.

You're supposed to right click the shortcut, not the desktop.

OK, when I run as admin, it works, but tags don't apear. I just got a Debug message (Finaly)

06.05.10 18:36:42 a hobo pc 01.01.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
06.05.10 18:36:42 reference function: _write_to_error_file

06.05.10 18:36:42 Couldn't read map file './a_hobobeta.map'
06.05.10 18:36:43 CreateDevice succeeded with refresh rate = 0
06.05.10 18:36:46 Sound card doesn't meet minimum hardware requirements. Disabling hardware option.

06.05.10 18:37:59 local player 0, weapon (0x0), deleted unexpectedly

Nope, sound card is fine. Maybe you deleted something from the palette, and didn't remove all instances of it first? For example, you deleted the cyborg from the biped palette, but didn't remove all cyborg bipeds from your scenario. Could be wrong though.

Well this couldn't have been your first problem, but it could well be your second problem, though I don't know how this happened. Sapien doesn't like two processors, so you have to run it on one.
