OK this is REALLY starting to piss me off!!! I can play single player fine without any slow downs at all. Yet, when I go to play a multiplayer game. THAT'S when the crap happens. I get as low as 4 to 15 FPS. In singleplayer. I get above 60FPS. I'm running vista home premium 32 bit. I can play L4D2 at max settings, no slow downs at all. I can play Halo 2 without any slow downs at all. My CPU's Hyper Threading IS enabled. As you can see below. Can anyone help me out with this? This is starting to piss me off. I'm running it as admin. Processor:Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT 1GB

Is it persistant? Or does it just happen at random intervals?

I waited whit posting this because I don't think this is the problem but it could be your mtu settings. Mtu has something to do whit maximum package transfer stuff. I made a tropic of this so you could seach that. However a wrong mtu setting will make some sites nolonger show up and a wrong setting can also result in the server list not showing up. I recomend trying an mtu of 1500 first. If anything goes wrong or it doesn't help try 1479 I think? last number I'm not sure. Anyway REMEBER THE CURRENT SETTING IF YOU SEE IT ANYWHERE BEFORE YOU ALTER IT. The how to for XP and windows 7 is in that topic I made seach for it. Also the number I'm not sure of is in that post. I hope this solves it. EDIT: I found the topic myself already so here it is. The number by the way should be eigther 1500 or 1492. You can just try savely as long as you know how to set it back to what it was. http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=31518 Edited by Niels on May 18, 2010 at 05:09 PM

I belive gamma and dennis wouldn't have fixed this ^^. I asked Dennis to make that topic of mine a part of the troubleshoting of haloce but he simply didn't reply to me. Again I would like to recomand adding this to the troubleshooting Dennis, Please contact me so I can make you the actual tekst for it. The topic I revert to needs modification before it ends up in troubleshooting.
