i dont know how to make a UI, but i am quite experienced in gimp. so if UIs require images, than yes, you can.

Yes you can make a ammo meter, i tried to made one.
But you need to create some alpha. i will be totaly présent on halo for july so i will help you and fix ambush_2 |

lol... i still have the new one somewhere david but not the credit room one XD. sweet sence i can make them in gimp i can fix stuff fast :D. but u cant make health bars in gimp :P
