Title.

(i rename the .map file and try it and then it says "the ***.map file is damaged or corrupted or something like that..plz help me)

To rename a map, you decompile it with HEK+ (found on this site, search for it), then rename the scenario file, and finally re-compile (with the tool build-cache-file command) the renamed scenario into your new map file.

U might want to learn stuff using the hek tuturial (included in the hek download). You need this basic knowledge for mapmaking.

how do you decompile the map with HEK+? im new to all this....

Select everything, add to Extraction Queue, press Start.
