Ok here is my problem:
i open CMD.exe and then i type in all the commands needed (im up to structure)
and then after that it asks me to pick from 1-9 and i pick on 1 for all the rest and then after all that it says that it cant read or anything.....

When i use tool it says cannot read beta file or sumthing help me plz?!

You NEED bitmaps and shaders for your map. First compile your bitmaps, then make the shaders for your map, then try the command again. Als, the tool saying it can't read beta file thing is normal. It will always happen so don't worry.

Btw, command for bitmaps is:

tool bitmaps <Enter directory to bitmaps folder here>

U might want to learn stuff using the hek tuturial (included in the hek download). You need this basic knowledge for mapmaking.

um.....what is tool used for anyway? is it to make the scenario file?
and how do you even compile and everyhting? on youtube i just get confused....so um....will you help with my map?

tool does the compiling ^^. That answheres 2 questions at once. Compiling the .jms file gives you the .senario file.

type in cmd (placed in the same map as tool)

tool.exe structure levels\mapname\filename filename

Don't forget to replace the mapname and filename (file name = .jms file name)

You can read all this under compilation in the hek tutorial file.
