Hey guys, i just joined but i already know most stuff about the halo maps forums. Anyway i decided to kick it all off i was going to make a map for you guys i'm not sure what it will be but i will give you some weekly updates on it and hopefully finish by May or June. but since it's my first map i may make it really good but first what i need is an idea so you say it i'll "try to" make it (not making and promises) but i hope you guys will reply for the idea cause that's not my strong spot but i will come up with something sooner or later i mean how hard can it be. (i'm screwed)

"Well, women have these things in their bodies called expectations..." I think that you really should start by working on your own concepts rather then other peoples, some people can be very demanding for a person with very little experience. Now I'm just assuming you're new and have little experience because you posted no previous work. Anyway I think that you should start on a small project and get feedback from members on how to improve before you take any sort of request, specificly a small multiplayer map as it will be a lot less tagging and ease you into the modding group. Just watch some tutorials and work on something small. We all walk before we run.

I honestly think people try and perfect their maps in the begining when there is no need. You may never be satisfied and be like half the people here. Too scared to release it for fear poeple will criticise their work. "and they will",, but it is constructive. To learn what works right is a hell of alot more important then how it looks right now. Learn, and complete the basic skills. Release the map, get feed back and then start on a massive project. None of this is easy and for the person starting out it can be overwhelming.
