This has been addressed i many forums in the past. gmax is really just 3ds max only stripped down. Everything would really just be the same for 3ds or gmax. You real question should be what tools would you use for exporting from gmax. That will be the only difference in these tutorials.

omg, someone help this guy, he has NO clue at all how to mod Halo... it isnt just a simple export of the model and then its done...
