lets say in bloodgulch i wanted to edit the texture at the top of on of the bases. how would i do that?

also, where in an extracted map do i find the map itself? like not the scenery, but like the shape of the map.

Open the .shader_environment tag you wish to edit. Change the referenced bitmap to what you want.

The actual map is a .scenario_structure_bsp tag. These are located in Halo CE Root directory\tags\levels\mapname\

how do i make a .bitmap out of a png/jpg file?

You can only make bitmaps out of .tif files. Put the .tif somewhere in your data folder and then use the tool command "tool bitmaps

so then i can (realisticly, of course) replace just about an .bitmap file? like the bases at bloodgulch?
