i have a problem with this model the textures are are not as they appear on the picture they sent with it they are much brighter and i want to know how to fix it or possibly if someone could send me new textures is it possible for someone to fix it for me. the person who sent it to this website is halo-stuff

1) Extract bitmaps from the bitmap tag and put it in either tga or tif (skip this step if you already have the source)
2) Open it in photoshop
3) add a gray overlay, make the transparency alot.
4) make sure it looks decent before moving onto step 5
5) Compile into bitmap form

but then the stuff that is supposed to be colored goes gray

or you can just play with the brightness settings
forgot about that lol
(higuy dosent use photoshop much~~)

also i cant smooth it without it seperating when i smooth it

What do you mean by seperating? You mean the textures?

no i mean when i use it in 3ds max i smooth it with mesh smooth modifier and it seperates the model
