alot of the times that i got to play ce on multiplayer i will click a map and it will say "your client is newer than the server" or "your client is older than the server" and some time it just says "failed to connect" so wats the porblem? wat am i doing wrong?

The server you are trying to connect to is a lower version of CE than yours.

Yes , but those playing XBL on the original XBox can't play Live matches with those playing XBL on the 360 , even if it's the same game.

1.08 removed the CD check. 1.09 fixed some bugs with 64 bit systems.

mostly pointless updates. so they dont affect game play any. only thing is no one plays on .07 or .08. so basically .09 is the only version with servers.

The first update for Halo PC changed how the map resets. On Halo PC 1.00 sv_map_reset just reloaded the map. Any version above that resets it without reloading it. I'm sure some other stuff like that also has been changed.

They only told us to hold onto the CD keys , nothing about a surprise , as far as I can recall.
