so I downloaded a map and I dont like the waterfall for when I edit it. And there is no bitmaps for it in the maps shaders. So my question is how do I delete the waterfall out of the map or find its bitmaps to replace with a transparent one?

If you have riped the tags out of a map There is two ways that you can solve this
1. rip the bsp into 3ds max or gmax and remake the bsp.
2. if you look in the bsp tag you will find a list of the shaders used by the bsp try to find the one for the waterfall and then change it.

Note: not all of thhe shaders will be in the same base directory as the bsp. I dont remake the bitmaps/shaders if thay are all ready there So it could be in another directory for a map.

If you have to change the uvw map for the waterfall you will have to remake the bsp or to take it out you can make a blank transpairent shader for it.

With changing someone elses map it is a good idea to get permission from the person who made the map to change it or at least give them credit for the bsp. I am not telling you off but we have lost alot of good people by stuff as minor as this.
