I get done making my map and everything is how it should be and then I begin the exporting process. I run the chimp script and click the export button then a box pops up with the header "MAXscript Rollout Handler Exception" saying "-- Runtime error; out of scripter memory - use options to increase".

What should I do to fix this?

Go to the customize menu at the top, and choose preferences at the bottom. Then, find the MAXScript menu and click on it. Under memory and next to Initial Heap Allocation (MBytes) and change the number to something from 16 to 64. Mine is set at 16, after I got the same error. If you set it above 64, gmax will crash, and will not start until you totally uninstall it, by which I mean you will have to delete the folder it is located in and reinstall it. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately it didn't work. It just kept saying the same thing. I even put it above 64 (gmax didn't crash) and it didn't work. I put it all the way up to around 250 and still nothing.

Now I may be way off here. I think I had to much crap in my debug file? or the heap dump don't quote me but check it out. Check the debug file and see how big it is. just delete all but the last few errors.
I went thru this and might remember more as the eve progresses. Peace bro

Did you try restarting gmax after every change? Set it to something between 16 and 64 again, and then restart. If that doesn't work, try putting it higher and higher while restarting gmax after every change. Beyond that, I can't help you, unfortunately.

I don't have that exception anymore. I tried yours xsnoder but it didn't help. I didn't restart Gmax, which was the problem. Unfortunately, it now just freezes at 16% when it's writing data and it's not above 64MB memory. Any ideas?
