How do I add fog to the bottom of a level? thanks :D

make a fog plane, preferably one big one with 2 tris and make the verts outside the levels so that the faces intersect the portion of the bsp at the point where you want the fog to stop. face the normals opposite of the fog. give the geometry the fog symbol...name it fog$...? i forget.

then create a fog tag or better yet copy and rename one and add it to the particles palette in sapien, then go to the next fog section in the file tree (still in sapien) and bring up the tools window, select your fog move the camera to the cluster where the fog is going to be and hit [space]. save bsp, close tree and save scenario.

i dunno why it just seems a whole lot simpler when i do it than when i try to explain it. the HEK covers it well enough in the "population" section.

Yup saw that, but I don't see my fog plane in Sapien, (The black outline)

black? i odn't recall any black...green maybe but not until the camera is in the right place...anyway...you posted in another thread you got it to work so i guess /thread

Huh? I didn't get it to work? :(

I said: fog will be in the final level..

Ooh.. Uhmm but How would I apply fog to a plane without seeing the plane? I know when you use envirnoment music you "Paint" the planes.. but I can't see my planes here..
