Halo PC no longer works on my computer, but I still check on here since I have halo 2 vista.
I do have a question though. Did you guys ever finish the Halo 2 Campaign Mod you were trying to make? what about the star wars mod? glad to be back, Scorch933. |

from what i know, they ain't finished with the halo 2 campaign mod, but about the star wars mod, i ain't sure. btw, why doesn't your halo ce work anymore? we might be able to help you. |

The day that I left halomaps was the day before I went to a Boarding school. I didn't want to mention that part that year ago.
I had Uninstalled HALO CE and PC a week before because the Latest and last update. I was creating a MP server when it said I needed to Download the Update... So I did. and it said that there was an error. I went straight to the HALOPC offical website to get the Update manually, and it said I already had it. I went back on HALOPC and it said I needed to get an update. Repeated twice, I decided to make copies of the 2 GB of maps i had, and I uninstalled, when I tried to reinstall, it said there was an Error with ratrace.map, So I gave up. Two weeks ago I tried to copy the files to a thumbdrive, and Replace the Ratrace map with a HPC (not CE, but HPC, for HPC, Not CE) copy backup I had. it said that the files were protected, so I didn't do that. So I decided that after Christmas I'd buy a new game copy, and set it up. Halo 2 Vista works fine, and I'm trying to find out how to put AI into H2 maps. |

ok....
so here are a few things to note: 1. putting ai in halo 2 is tricky with the existing HEK for H2V. Trust me, dont even try it. 2. putting HPC maps in the map folder for HCE wouldn't work, and may cause errors. 3. if your installation of halo ce can't work. then redownload the installer from halomaps and try again, then install the updates required. 4. halo pc updates are meant for halo pc only, not halo ce and vice versa. hope this helps, and if it does make your copy of halo ce work again, then welcome back to the halo ce community :) |
