fix'd video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQl3nTXgCm4

sapien debug:

11.06.09 04:02:07 the model 'levels\scenery\the_volume\the_volume' and the animation graph 'levels\scenery\the_volume\the_volume' don't match
11.06.09 04:02:08 the object 'levels\scenery\the_volume\the_volume' will not animate

^was with JMW, haven't tried the JMO yet....model just rotates and has a few pieces rotating around it.

also, both JMW and JMO are "saved at 0 bytes" in tool..is that normal?

as long as it lists all the animations, it should be fine.

as for the error, it means the nodes are different on the model and the animation. try re-exporting the model.

also, check to see if the node list checksum is the same on the model (near the top) and animation (near the bottom) tags. If not, edit them with Kornman (guerilla will not let you).

it does, i found that error is typical, as long as it says ###blahblah.JMO before it.

i've exported the model a couple times, no change.

i changed the node-list and no longer get the error but it still does not animate. i'm thinking if it was set up right in the first place i wouldn't have to change the checksum...amirite?

maybe i should describe what im doing a little....i have one peice that rotates with 4 other peices rotating around it...similar to a planet with moons. the "planet" is linked to its own frame and so are the other 4 parts (A,B,C,D) except frame C is linked to frame B....all of that is then linked to "frame"

normally i'd assume JMW because they rotate around 0,0,0. although i haven't tried the JMW since i fixed the checksum numbers.

also, is there something about models that doesn't allow transparency even with chicago_transparent or am i just imagining things and need to fix the texture?

E: nevermind it's fixed....JMM lol thanks though
