Msg. 1 of 5
Hello I'm new here so sorry if anything's wrong.
I had a question about a problem I'm having with the bluestreak exporter. I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer so sorry if this has been posted before. When I try to export a map I get a pop-up showing this message:
"No ""get'"" function for undefined"
Also the code for the exporter popped up and highlighted line 299 showing:
face_shader_index[f] = (findItem materials objs[j].material[matID]
If anyone has any idea how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Joe Cool 58

I've heard about this before, are you using 3ds max 9?
If so, then you need to, or find another .ass exporter for 3ds 9, or get version 6,7 or 8 instead of 9. The second one is the most recommanded.
It's just that the bluestreak exporter is suited for 3ds 6 to 8 and the 9 version is not supported. There are exporters for 9 out there, but the one of bungie itself (bluestreak exporter) is the most compatible of them all.

Actually I'm using 3ds max 2010, but I would assume it's safe to say if it doesn't work for 9 it's not going to work for the newer versions either. I'll see if I can look for an exporter that does work I guess.
