ok so i wanted to use thirdperson/fov with halo custom edition. everytime i load halo up and change it to 1.08xCE it says it was succesfully changed. however... when i click multiplayer it says checking for updates and when that dissappears it freezes completely. i have to alt tab out, show desktop, open task manager etc.... how can i get this to stop?

No he obviously isn't kidding you. How should he know what ones check for update? I think the Yoyorast Island one doesn't.
I get this problem with the updated version changer. If you want the old when send me a PM and I'll give you my Xfire so I can send it to you. |

Most of them say in the details if they check for update. I personally use Polar's Libary UI.
