i am a movie maker and i was wondering what program you use to convert the movies into .mov flash and all those besides .wmv

Dennis, if we dont upload more than one media type version of my movies would you do that or leave it as it is? or if we ask would you do it. just wondering

The decision to re-encode the video is an arbitary one. Meaning if I think the video is good then I'll re-encode it to other formats. Or if I think the video is worth hosting by the file size is too large I will re-encode it. There are no real rules other than my opinion and the amount of time I have to spend on it.
