i know its off topic, but this is the more active forum.
i JUST got halo 2 vista yesterday, and it was working great until i started live and got the patch, now halo 2 wont even start, it just gives me this  |

if you restarted the game after the update finished and it still didn't work restart your comp then try. sometimes even if you stop playing a game it will keep running in windows which is odd and one thing Microsoft needs to fix. other wise if you know how to use task manager just look for any program in it labeled halo or something with halo in it the click end process. That should work if not reply back again.

You updated the game but not Live. I had this problem too. Updating live fixes it.
