I have compiled a gbxmodel of a device and in game the normals are fliped. They are not like this in gmax. I don't know why, any ideas?

Had this happen to me once...it's really fun falling off the map everytime you load it. don't forget to redo the UVW's when you turn it right side in. i didn't and they came out bad

for a model however it doesnt matter much, since only bsp's suffer from collision that way
you can set double sided in normal models because collisions are seperated for those

normally happens when you mirror some of the model. normally i just make a cube, then attach the model to the cube, then delete the cube, and that makes it better, and it wont look weird in gmax/3dsmax Edited by Koo294 on Aug 25, 2009 at 03:23 PM

You can fix this by pressing the Reset XForm button in the utilities. I think what is technically causing this is the frame is flipped in a sense making the model flipped.
