I have been trying to get either of two third person programs working, but when I try to start them up in halo is says "EXCEPTION!" and closes the game... I have gotten them running before but haven't got them working recently... I know that if you have the "HaloPC107" installed, it won't let you use the mod, but I have tried reinstalling halo several times... Is there a location where the "HaloPC107" patch is installed where I need to go to uninstall in separately?

If you have the 1.08 patch, it'll exception. Your best bet is to uninstall Halo, and put in the version changer.

Go to modacity.net and find a halo ce 1.07 exe(in a version changer thread), download that and version changer at the same time.
Launch the 1.07, with version changer installed.
Run all the hacks you want.
Open console and type "version 1.08ce"
You will be running thirdfov in 1.08 now.
EDIT: Add me, halogeek472 on xfire for version changer and the 1.07 exe
EDIT(again): You need to download an actual 1.07 launcher, not the installer. Edited by someone not important on Aug 17, 2009 at 08:18 PM

There is also an Open Sauce plugin that allows you to have 3rd person/FOV. However it's incompatible with XFire.
