I can jump?Weeeee (pop!) (No1 heard from it again)

i dont hear anything outside the game(i usually listen to music while playin) i no the problem is the hardware acceleration settiing at yes. it stop showin sound during a gameat blood gulch. and ive had the settings the same in the game ever since i frst got it and so a year in a half later, sound is gone. i run windows xp. if u no ho i can fix this without changin hardware acceleration to no at the settings, plz tell me

Click on Start, Run, type in "dxdiag" and press enter. Click "Sound" tab. There should be something that says "Enable Hardware acceleration" or something like that

the thing is on full acceration as always even b4 this happened and after it happened
