I have a question: How do you make a Vehicle float on top of water? and how do you make them sink into the water (like a Sub)? and for curtain vehicles, do you need to make a animations file in gorilla? For example: I i wanted to make a Submarine have a hatch that you can enter and when when you choose to drive the Submarine, the hatch closes. How would you do that?

You need to animate the vehicle in max, or some other animating software. Then, export the animation, and compile the animations through tool.

and how do i make it go underwater? do i also have to do that though animations?

no. Theres a problem with water. the only way its possible to use vehicles effectively with it would be to make the vehicle ceiling (or floor for boats) at the level of the water. the only problem would be, it would be immposible to have any vehicle above/below(if boats) the water, so your map would have to be submarines only. (or for boats, boats and aircraft only)

Thanks for replying! Can you please go into more depth? Like how i would going about making the submarine(s) be able to go underwater...and how to make the boats and aircraft work. The thing is is that i want to make a map that has submarines boats and aircraft (and maybe some warthogs and tanks). Is that even possible?

I DID! But i kinda still don't fully understand. I was hoping for a more in depth description. Maybe someone should make a tutorial on how to properly make vehicles go on top of water and understand.

basically, go up to the level of your water in sapien, look at what the camera z is (in the bottom left of the view window), go to your .scenario in guerilla, and near the top of your tag is a field for vehicle floor and vehicle ceiling, if you want boats, put the z in the vehicle floor field, if you want submarines, put it in the ceiling field. For boat, in the globals.globals tag in the folder tags\globals, you have to set vehicle friction with dirt and sand and all that stuff to 0 so the boats dont drive on land, for the submarine consider giving them minus weight\gravity in the physics tag (if possible).
