Eh, I'll watch this but when will Microsoft learn that CGI Films are so much better? For instance the Cutscene named "Monsters" in Halo Wars was so damn awesome. They should screw anime and make it into a CG series. It wouldn't be hard, all the models needed are there. Just need to model the environment and animate the movie.

Dun know if this was posted. Its Halo Legends. A few studios taking a shot at it I guess.
Studio 4C looked the best. But the Bones segment, the spartan looked like a mech with the cannons and jetpack mounted.

idk if this is epic or epic fail...

I'm not sure they are going to be shown on TV.

Looks quite similar to Batman: Gotham Knight (i.e. a few good quality drawings, a few slightly out of proportion).

At 0.40-0.42 in the video, it looks to me like the Mjolnir Mark 4 armour, but in the rest of the video it looks like the Mark 6. Which means that the timeline could already be screwed up ...

It's because it was a montage of different anime developers. Kind of competing to see who does the films. Or are they planing on have 7 different studios working on their own film?

I hope Studio 4C does it. It really did look the best. The others looked weird, and the CGI one looked really stupid.

Nobody should do it. It's a complete failure of an idea. Halo is not Japanese, and should not be made into an anime series, period. They just want as much money from Halo as they can get, and this is just another way for them to do it. Disgusting.

Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei Animation, all get their shot at Halo Legends, as its seven short films done by five production houses (similar to how Batman: Gotham Knight was done).



It has already been done (well its in production).
Yes, they do want to make as much money as possible, after all it is M$.

As I've said before, what's wrong with trying to earn money? Microsoft is made up of humans. It's human nature to want to pursue happiness. And everyone knows that even though money can't buy happiness, it can buy a lot of awesome stuff, which eventually leads to happiness.

meh, everyone says that things from their childhood are better then stuff nowadays. Its because of how when you were a kid everything seemed cool, and those memories stay. The reason why watching old tv shows or playing old videogames are fun is because subconciously sp? your brain pulls up the other childhood memories when times were simple. and Shaft can acualy even hide messages about society in there shows aswell lol (look up random things sayonara zetsubou sensei on youtube, something like casual, ditz, 50/50, taller, perry, etc. Also, look for Ringo Mogire Beam (apple picking beam) its the newest opening, look for the V2 (they release all openings in 2 versions, first are no real animation))
