Update!

Well I have good news and bad news!

my first test was to test the files i used to make the disk on my xbox1
everythang went exactly the same

the same maps that worked on teh xbox360 worked on the xbox1
and the same maps that would not load on the xbox360 would not load on teh xbox1
but i then ran the maps with the orig default.xbe file and then all of the mps loaded exept
needelnosey

so its a problum with the default.xbe file

i still dont know what patches wear used to in the default.xbe file for the halocce mappack
the only patch im aware of is the one for the larger maps but still thease mps are not to big
so i dont see whay thay would hve used it

i still dont know if a default.xbe file useing the large map support patch will boot on the xbox360 as i have no disks to test it with atm!

in other news i hve dont my first haloce to xbox1halo map conversion after trying with some of my owen mps and not haveing any luck i sucsessfuly converted the map pyromid and got it working on my xbox1 yay!

tobad it was full of errors!
it seams that teh errors wear infact caused buy the program Arsenic because im useing a beta version thare are still meny bugs to be worked out!

the errors consisted of
1.the flamethrower did not show up in the map at all.
2.rocket lancher had texture errors.
3.sniper rifle had texture errors. the texture on the sniper rife looked to me liek the bump map for teh helth pack weard
4.helth pack had texture errors.
5. the hole map had texture errors all over teh place red and yellow sploches everyware
6. no veachals showed in game but i beleve that is only because i did not edit teh globals file
only because im new to this conversion process.

well back to testin!
i will update you more later!

sory about the typos and spelling errors looks like i need to go buy my 200th keybord!
my a button keeps sticking!

Edit I am in need of dvd box art if anyones up for making some for halo cce (custom conversion edition) & the kmp map pack as i will be trying to get thease map packs to work on teh xbox360 as well.

thease maps wear picked from all the relesed mappacks and tested with a normal default.xbe file

my tests show that thease maps will work flawlessly on the xbox360 console
all maps are alredy completed and tested so this project was very quickly put together
im just finishing up the ui.map now. the hui customizer application im working with is a bit of a pain. anyway then I need to edit a weapon spawn on Prodigy & then I will be bulding the 7.5 gig xbox360 game image from scratch and should be done sometime hopefully in the next 24.hr's

i will probly release a xbox1 compatable image as well.
along with both ntsc and pal versions of the game for both consoles!

right now I need someone to help! post a good pic of the map Training day for the main menu ! something without a wepon being held in the picture.

UPDATEA!

Well im on the tip of the ice hear now!
I have created the map pack and just put it on my xbox1 for the first beta tests
my ui is missing 3 map pictures.
I cant seam to make new ones for the maps i didnt get from map packs

Courrupted !

it sems when I save a new dds file with photoshop it turns out the wrong size and i cant save after I inport the new dds file
so i just put a ? on thease maps for now hopefully i can fix that soon
also i wanted to share that the maps that i cut from the map pack that also booted with a default.xbe file are

First beta test went ok. Traning day didnt load I think I can fix that
2 or 3 maps need editing a couple texture errors on wepons
nothing realy that bad.

After I fix thease erorrs and hopfuly get thease three new ui pics in my ui we will have a great new mappack!

also i wanted to state the mappacks i tested

Halo 1 Conversions MapPack <----none of thease maps could not be tested at all due to the ui being so diffrent. But I will be doing more testing with this mappack later.

So if you ever wanted to play thease maps on your xbox360 this is the game your gona want
as it has all bootable maps that can work on the xbox360 aside from the ones I cut!

No im not selling anythang it will be free but you will have to pay for the blank DVD+R DL to burn the game to play it on the xbox360
you will also need a DVD+R DL compatable dvd burner to burn the game
& a fw moded xbox360 to play the game.
A blank DVD+R DL roughly cost around $2.25 depending on the quality of media you burn it to.
However Xbox1 owners can simply ftp the game files to thare harddrives & play with out a disk. But for xbox36o owners a disk is the only option!
The great part about this map pack is its compatable with teh xbox360 & if you owen both consoles you can have a nice lan party & also blow up xlink kai & xbconnect!
thats what im hopeing for anyway!

Edit ok i just need a better picture of training day and the pics will be in the main menu

without a rock or a tree takeing up the hole picture!

Wouldn't you need a chipped 360 to play burned disks? Because chipped 360s can't play on LIVE else a certain banhammer from Microsoft comes striking down...

lets keep the xbox360mods out of this post i dont want it locked for breaking any rules
we dont condone piricy hear at halomaps

i recomend upgradeing your fw to ix1.6
tutorials on how to do this can be found all over the internet

so the last day and a 1/2 i have ben working hard on my new ui
very hard i might add when i should be out looking for a job
none the less i figured id take a break and finaly post a real update with some screen
shoots of the ui i am working on
my logo is just a beta i still have lot of editing to do so it will look better
my ui is pritty much halo reach theme'd!
I used the halo reach logo to make mY logo and I used a Burning planet bitmap from nmp
but thease thangs may change

im sory for thease horible pictures i dont have a capture card so i used my phone camera
also the pics wear taken on a very old tv at very low rezolution
the final masterpeace will be looking much better than what you see in thease pictures
but i just figured id show you guys some pictures so you guys know im not hear playing games~

also wanted to tell you that i may be removing the map splinter
so i may have an empty slot to fill

remember thease are just beta pictures of me testing!

Well after spending quite a few days on my new ui logo its finaly in my ui all sexy and perfect
What do you guys think?



Also im still in need of a program to edit the .bik intro file
infact im now looking for someone to make a new bik files for the game

so im gona need some one to make some moves also im gona need to beta testers soon to!
i do have a nice little moded intro video that i downloaded from halomods but it needs editing
well its nice and i want to use it but the music dose not work when i put it on my xbox
it dose play on my pc fine so im gessing the xbox just dosent like the music in the file im hoping to fix it nd it also needs to be cut at the end because it just sits at a black screen for like 10 seconds be4 the ui loads !

if anyone can help with this stuff that would be great!

Edit:ok i have the music working in my new intro.bik file now im gona install adobie premeare and see if i can some how cut the blackness part out of the end

on another note i have just compiled a new bloodgulch map for testing with all my cusom scenary from hek from the last 10 years or so i see lot of my custom textures have errors
insted of displaying my texture it displays one from the level on my new model and if i move around the model the texture randomly changes its very weard i know that has nothing to do with the map pack but if i can figure out why arcinic is not likeing custom textures then maby the maker can relese a more stable relese wich would be great!

i hope my map pack will get more people to join halomaps i know teh community is dieing right now and im hoping that when i relese this maby it will be good for the community and get more new people in hear i love this web site so much and halo1 its teh best game ever ok well im off to test out my new bg conv bbl !

I know your redy to play but I cant buld the final xbox360 image untill the hole project is complete some beta testing will have to be done on teh xbox1 first!

My beta spots are comming in a first come first serve basis but also reliablity and avalibilaty
thare are plenty of beta positions open ATM none have ben filled so just post hear saying you want to beta and i will add you to my list of beta tester providing thares a beta position left for you i curantly have aabout 16 or more open spots for beta testers

ALSO if you are going to beta test please state what type of system you have xbox1 or xbox360!

Both consoles must be modded to beta test!

so if your console is not capable of playing DONT ASK TO BETA!

do u have a xbox 1 ?
do you u have halo1 ?

you dont need my .bik files to make new ones.

i have teh intro.bik coverd i just need the rest
thay have to be cool!

after i got the maps bugs worked out im shure someone can do some filming and then use that footage to make a nice attract video! but if you have anythang cool you can use that
im actulty thinking about useing the halo reach video preview as aan attract video.

well i have totaly failed at making the attract video out of the halo reach traler
if someone could try that it would be nice just post and let us know your working on it \

the reson i failed is because the video is not the right rezolution i need and when i made it it was all blury i tryed 2 times but im giving up for now so if someone else wants to try i ll give the links

great news i just fixed all my arcinic texture erorrs~!

im downloading the .bik file scott i got my fingers crossed!
i will let you know what i think about it

is thare anyway you might beable to cut the end off of my intro?
its like 10 seconds of blackness its sorta anoying!

Edit>: OMFG scott its perfect man nice job! what settings did you use ? teh audio didnt work on teh xbox im gessing you didnt cheak 16bit sterio at the bottom right but im working on fixing it i may need you to recompile it with that setting but i will let you know im working on it my self atm k!

Edit agin!: hear is the moded intro im working on i need the hahahahah blackness cut off the end so when it ends it go's directly to the ui.map
also if its posible fade the music at the end because its sorta a rough cut off!

Well it seams getting this halo reach anouncement traler in my ui was a project all in it self
after me and scott converted the file about 5 times each with diftent audio and compression settings its finaly part of my ui !
and all my texture errors are gone!

however my intro video still needs some work!
