for my requested covie vs humans map i would like to no if u can do that and how if possible? of course covies would be elites and humans will either be marines or spartans

I'd do the script if I had the following things
a) A biped with an elite permutation and a spartan permutation, which itself is hard to make. b) Two rooms hidden away from everyone else.

It wouldn't work Gamma. A biped can only have one animation graph, and seeing as elites and cyborgs use different... Would work with things like heretic elites on this side and normal elites on the other.

Which is precisely why I haven't done it yet. I can do it with CQB and EVA armor permutations for a spartan, but there are limitations for certain characters, the elite - spartan being the main ones.

It actually isn't a challenge. It's just a rather tedious task to do, the script, at least. I don't know about the other parts. Adding a new part into the BSP shouldn't be that hard, but making a biped with different permutations may be a little more challenging. Edited by Gamma927 on Jul 16, 2009 at 08:42 PM

Edited by Gamma927 on Jul 16, 2009 at 08:42 PM Script is quite simple, only real issue is first of all, deciding how you'll set your biped up (weather your acualy gonna have 2 bone structures set into each biped so they are still seperate apearing, or your gonna rig both your bipeds to one bone set (well, that happens either way, but the first mention I had was unused bones in each permutation) etc) http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm%3Fpage=topic&topicID=27470for the scripting, basicly do the same as I did in the weapon randomizer there, but instead of a random weapon, set your permutation for that team (or, multiple per-team like if you have 4 versions of elite and 4 spartans or something if you do want random team oriented permutations) and you can keep the weapon part in if you want to have each team with spesific weapons aswell
