Ok, that made me facepalm @ skynet.

All versions of HEK+ are made by SteelIXB. The other versions are just updates to the first version. They're all the same program.

And the tutorial scenario is located in levels\test\tutorial.

If tutorial didn't work it not an issue with tags.... like I said before possibly compatibility issues???

I know all versions were originally created by steelbix just some of them dont have to be installed you just extract them and others don't work right so only the one that has steelbix installation do I trust.

Alot of computers have sound issues mine has that and it still loads sapein.. so probably not. Also fail to load sapien.map or whatever is also an error that always comes up, but it wont stop sapien from loading so...

Trying running sapien as administrator... that might work.. but when i did that I ran into the issue that your scenario tags don't appear when sapien runs as administrator... so idk I'm stuck now to...

Only other thing I can think of is the comptability. . .

my sapien compatability looks like this

To get to compatability you right click on sapien shortcut and go to proporties and then go to compatability tab.

Sorry but that all I can think of.

When I used to use Vista, I used 32 bit. Now, I use Windows 7.

Well.. Windows 7 completely different lol not as many bugs in my opinion. How it work work faster than Vista or no??

Also I think you should reinstall HEK as it obviously a more serious issue and cant be fixed with minor tweaks... so just try reinstalling hek. After reinstalling hek change compatability again and try and load up tutorial.scenario

Seeing as you said it looked like it got farther this time means that sapien was loading correctly there is just several tag issues.

Faster than XP IMO. I know how fast XP is, because all of the school computers use XP.

Even though this is starting to get off topic I like to just point out that I am fed up with windows and I hope Chrome OS is as promising as google says. I hope it runs Halo too. (but then again it not really sounding like a real operating system sigh...)

Now then back on topic... when hek is reinstalled I guess.

Make the compatibility "Windows 95"
The "Disable display scaling on High DPI settings" can be unchecked, to.
