Okay Im experimenting with a weapon and I needed a projectile to have various particles and 1 contrail but when I add the effect to the projectile they dont appear..also the projectile had no model so I dont see how bungie set this up ??? I've been studying it and made bitmaps off of what I've have seen... I also know that the game engine has markers there we dont know about though theres no model it's there by default from the game engine..markers such as normal,negative incident etc

I just wanted to know if any halomaps member knew what some of halo ce's default markers are??


Is there a problem with my bitmaps or what??

If the projectile has no model, and you define the effect's location, it can't place the effect/contrail there because it doesn't exist.
Don't give it a location.

I got it nevermind I guess there was something wrong with my bitmaps cuz It never showed and I tried different bitmaps and it showed fine?????????///
