I'm working on fixing the spartan laser from the map avalanche and I'm stuck at this. How do I make the projectile over-penentrate and have a blast-radious?
Thanks.

K, lol because it is useless against shade turrets unless you hit the operator directly with the weapon.

Over-penetrate: Open the .projectile, scroll down to the bottom, find Material Responses. Select the material you want and change the response to "overpenetrate".

Blast-radius: Open the damage_effect tag. Change the radius right at the top.

Dang Mythril beat me to it :) Yeah it in the projectile tag also if u want the beam to go through like 2 or 3 material (AI's,Vehicles) in the projectile tag were u set it to overpenatrate
u will see a section on penetartion and it has (initial fraction and maximum distance) set maximum distance to a higher value it's normaly at 0

So for lets say material grunt: Set the response to overpenetrate and scroll down alittle bit and set the penetration section (maximum distance to alot higher value than 0)

The result if u shoot the beam at a grunt it will go straight through him nd kill whatever is behind him,,or it will travel through many grunts if there lined up right :)
