You have to open Tool using command prompt. I cant remember how to do that right now, mostly because of this: http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=578Tool++ lets you do all of your Tool operations by a .exe file, meaning that you dont have to write out the coding and everything when your compiling. Makes it much easier.

Tool++ is stupid. Open command prompt and change the directory to your Halo Custom Edition folder. It even tells you how to use it in the HEK tutorial.

It's actually the easy way out of learning how to use tool. When you try to compile bitmaps, or hud messages using tool++, it doesn't work. You have to manually do it using the command prompt, or use the HEK+ tool plugin (if it works).
