Do you really need to create a new topic? Stick to your old one next time...

As for the problem, Guerilla can't open model files. You must compile it using tool into a .scenario_structure_bsp.

Go to this directory: C:\Windows\System32 and search for a file called 'cmd'. It will be a command prompt. Copy and paste it in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition

Once that’s done, open it, and type in the following : "cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition” without the quotation marks. Then, a line of text with the words C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition> will pop out.

To compile your scenario into a .map, type in the command propmt: tool build-cache-file levels\nameofmapfolder\nameofmap

Typing cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\ defeats the purpose of coping cmd.exe. People just don't know the command for command prompt to change what folder it's in. It's cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\

You do not need to copy it at all. And if you get tired of always typing in the command to change the folder. Just make a shortcut to command prompt and change the start in folder. So whenever you start command prompt with that shortcut you will have it automatically set to the right folder.

Edit:

Did you run tool.exe, or did you run cmd.exe? You're supposed to run cmd.exe, and then type your commands. For example, if you want to create a map, you start up cmd.exe, and type:

tool build-cache-file levels/[level directory]/[scenario]

Replace [level directory] with the location of the scenario file, and [scenario] with the name of the scenario.

Nice question. No. You're ignoring the tags\ part, because tool only compiles tags inside the tags folder. If your scenario file is located in the tags folder, you can just type the scenario name. Normally, most scenarios are located in the levels folder.

Um, does he even have the .scenario? From the sound of it, looks like he only has the model file, no .jms or .scenario.

The command to compile a .jms to structure bsp is

tool structure levels\blisk blisk

Assuming that you have data\levels\blisk\models\blisk.jms

Then export it to a jms.
Your map tutorial should have the instructions.
Or google project bluestreak.

It exports models from Gmax. Once you've exported it, you can then compile it in tool.
