Simply put, the game revolves around the player. The AI (in this case, a grunto), is a 'minor' object in the game. The game still thinks that the 'empty shell' player you left behind is the player, and thinks the Grunt is a regular AI. It dosen't process the fact that you are now a Grunt. So the engine waits patiently for the 'empty shell' player to walk through the loading point, and that 'empty shell' will probrably never comed. Instead, you are a Grunt, and the game proccess you as an AI. And AI freeze upon BSP switch (loading....done). |
