ok, so i had a tutor helping me out with Modding (quite odd since i've been playing Halo Ce for over 2 years, and i still don't know how to model/mod/skin/animate/ etc.)
so, im trying out modding, simple, and could get me started,
but for now, i have edited a map saved as a scenario, so, i need help putting it to a .map format...
i heard you need tool++ so i have that, but i have no clue how -_-

you've got tool++? well open it, and from the list at the left hand side select "build-cache-file". then click the 3 dots button and select your scenario. then click "run tool". It will place a map file in your maps directory. now run halo!!!

That's probably a bad thing. Takes me less than 2 minutes for a 128 mb cache file.

Ok, I reinstalled halo 1 and ce both in my :C now, including hek+, Tool++, etc.
I opened up Hek+, and open up hang em high from the Halo ce folder, then i extract hang em high to the levels/ test folder.
i open up sapien, edit the map by deleting weapons, and adding some just to test, save it underneath the test folder.
i open up tool++ and click "Build-Cache-File" i open up my hangemhigh, which i renamed "hangemlol" (which is in a .scenario format) i click run tool, and i wait for around 1 hour, and nothing happens... this loading sign appears only if i run my mouse around the Run Tool Box.
So can someone help with this? and if nothing works, does this mean i have to send the file to someone and get them to put it in a .map format? or is there another way?
