Hey,

the problem is: I have imported some weapons from other maps with HEK+. I took out the weapon folder I needed and the item_collection to the weapons. So i maked the map and so on. But then I tested the map and saw that there's no zoom function in the Sniper, Rocket Launcher etc. (that was the weapons i took out for example). What have i forgotten to take out? Or must i edit the weapon in guerilla and when yes, what to change or fix?

Thx for help

When extracting tags with HEK+, it's best to extract -all- the tags from the map. Sometimes the weapon tag may call another tag from outside of the "\weapons" folder, which you may not have extracted.

That's the only thing I believe would make any sense.

I tested it but it doesn't work. I extracted the complete map. Then i took in the new weapons in the map. And I tested the zoom from the same weapons in the original map.

but thx for help :)

You sure you just didn't change your zoom key?
If you know you didn't, open up your HUD tag and turn on the scope there.

You also have to look into the .weapon tag as well. The HUD tag I think is where it puts the overlay, and the weapon tag is where you set it up. Just look around the tag. It clearly says it when you find it.

If you want to make weapons zoom, it's in the weapon tag.

If you want to make the weapons have a "scope" when they zoom, like the sniper rifle and pistol, it's in the .weapon_hud_interface tag.

Now it works.

thx for your help! :D

But there's one thing: The sniper rifle has no .weapon_hud_interface tag. What to do then? Copying this tag from the other sniper rifle and then inserting it in the other sniper rifle folder? (sry for my bad english)

Just link the custom sniper to the sniper HUD.

Re-extract tags. There is one. It's called sniper rifle.weapon_hud_interface, and it's located in the tags\weapons\sniper rifle folder.

Which map? It probably also uses sniper rifle.weapon_hud_interface. They don't always have to use new tags.

It's h3mt-narrows. But i don't know if it uses the same tag because i can't use the nightvision. So I don't really know.
