I have a problem with tool. I'm not a noob and I know how to search for help when I need it. But the problem still remains that after I have searched, ( per the tutorial ) for the cmd.exe I copied that cmd to my Halo CE directory and typed the following as per the tutorial:

cd C:\Program Files
cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition
everything is fine to that point.

when I type tool at the end of the command line like this:

cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool



I get the following error:

'tool' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file



** so my problem is that I cannot complete the Tool creation for what reason?
I followed the tutorials ( 2 of them from your downloads section ) and followed them to letter... still no working Tool.


Any assistance would be greatly appreaciated.

* I even tried disableling AntiVirus too... that was not part of the problem.
Is there something I am missing?

Halo CE fresh install
HEK Fresh Install
Updated Halo CE as well to the latest version ( patch 1.8 )

- no I am not running Vista.

tool.exe automaticly installs with hek. you need to type tool.exe, which would show all commands if tool.exe is in the right folder (main halo custom edition folder)
