hey all i had a question
like what should i use as the maximum amount of faces for my singleplayer i knwo that for multiplayer and weapons,bipeds that it is 10k poly
but i heard here and there that these day's people use 20k poly maps for multiplayer
so i was wondering what is the maximum poly amount that i can use for a bsp for a sp map?
because now i'm limiting myself at 10k poly but if i can increase that then that means less scripting with ai and stuff and switching between bsp's

Meh, Halo's campaign maps use tens of thousands of polies.

and the bsp's are portalled very well, to reduce lag.

halo 1 realeased on xbox: 2001. truth and reconciliation indoor ship bsp has around 350k triangles current year: 2009. as many as you want

yeah
but i learned something from masterz today
like i'm better of making
for an example making 10 small bsp's then 3 big bsp's because of the tag space limit
so thanks all for the help i got what i need : )
