So does that mean that you are attempting to spam the forums on purpose?

anyway, sometimes you can solve this sapien problem by opening in guerilla and deleting all objects- then you need to re-populate the level
sry if that wastes time
(i had sapien crash repeatedly cos a map had a wraith in it!!)

Rule number one when extracting tags or decompiling a map with HEK Plus is to NEVER overwrite your existing tags. The program is not perfect and will corrupt some tags like the scorpion tag during extraction. Also some maps have base tags that have been tweaked and those tags can interact improperly with others to cause exceptions. If you don’t know where you are then uninstall the HEK, delete the tags folder, re-install the HEK and start again.

It depends on what you are doing. If you are modifying an existing map then decompile the complete map it with HEK+ set to not overwrite tags. It will create the scenario for you and not change any of the base tags like the hog and scorpion.

This is what I did. I downloaded the tags, and put them in. Most scenarios opened, except for Boarding Action (some people may remember that). For those scenarios that didn't open, I had to extract certain tags using HEK+. But most scenarios should open fine.

One thing. The textures in the picture look kind of strange, don't you think? If you want to fix that, reinstall HEK. It won't delete your tags folder, but it'll replace the corrupted tags.

A really old graphics card is not the problem. The textures always appear the way they should ingame. If it looks funny, then one of the tags is corrupted. I don't even know what happens if you compile a map with bad textures, but it should be something fixed ASAP.

You need to move the camera around and find your BSP. I assume you know the controls?
